Oberhofen in the Inntal Valley is one of the holiday villages surrounding the regional capital of Innsbruck. It is located close to the market town of Telfs, in the heart of the North Tirolean Alps.
The market town of Telfs at the foot of the mighty Hohe Munde mountain is just a few minutes from Oberhofen. The same goes for the sunny Mieming Plateau with its lakes, golf courses and many hiking trails. The regional capital Innsbruck is only a 20-minute drive away. However, Oberhofen also has plenty to offer in its own right. Cyclists, for example, can explore the Inn Cycle Path and the "Genuss.Radweg", a culinary cycle trail with 26 separate stops inviting riders to sample some of the best local food and drink. Highlights include Tirolean honey, freshly baked bread, dried bacon, liqueurs and, of course, delicious schnapps!
