Niederndorferberg is a small village overlooking Niederndorf offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountain landscape.
Perched at 738 metres above sea level above the Inn Valley, Niederndorf is made up of the settlements Eiberg, Hausern, Noppenberg, Gränzing and Praschberg. All in all it has a population of around 700. In the nearby hamlet of Wildbichl there is an animal park which is popular with families. Deer, lynx, wild boar and many other animals native to the Alps can be observed in their natural habitat. Outdoor activities include a number of themed hiking trails on topics such as plants and ecology. Cheese lovers should pay a visit to the Bio-Sennerei Hatzenstädt dairy farm where organic cheese is made using natural spring water and fresh milk from nearby farms.
