Winter visitors to the village of Grän can look forward to a small but perfectly formed family ski resort with its own ski school and equipment hire centre.
The idyllic village of Grän in the Tannheimer Tal Valley is an excellent destination for families in winter. The resort above the village can be reached quickly and easily using the local cable car leading up onto the Füssener Jöchle mountain, where the pistes range from 1,150 metres to 1,870 metres above sea level and are mainly aimed at beginners and intermediate skiers. There is also a special practice area further down in the valley, at the Schachenlift, where you will also find a ski school and equipment hire shop. A number of neighbouring villages near Grän also have their own small ski resorts, for example Neunerköpfle to the west of Grän as well as the resort of Zöblen-Schattwald. The small resort of Krinnenlift in Nesselwängle, to the east of Grän, is just a ten-minute drive.
