The Zillertal Arena offers mountain bikers a huge variety of tracks and trails in beautiful natural surroundings. Most of the trails are on the Isskogel mountain in Gerlos. Their rollers, berms, bridges, drop-offs and Northshore elements are kept in top condition.
Beginners finding their feet should start off with the Iss Flow Trail or the shorter but action-packed Iss Shore Trail. The next step up is then the Iss Natural Trail, before riders progress to the Iss Vertical Trail with its tight corners, steep pitches and back-to-nature sections.
In the village of Zell am Ziller there is a 4.4km route of intermediate difficulty called the Wiesenalm Trail, which is very popular with local riders thanks to its beautiful setting and high fun factor. Zell also marks the starting point of the 25km Arena Panorama Ride above the treeline. Both the Isskogelbahn cable car and the Rosenalmbahn cable car offer bike transport. There are also bike-wash facilities, rental shops and service stations at the bottom of each cable car.
