Lasörling altitude trail Stage 1

Out of the daily grind, into fragrant forests and across lush alpine meadows. The start of the Lasörling long-distance hiking tour could hardly be better. Ah, but there is one more improvement, in the form of a blackberry omelette at the Zunigalm. We pass it on the ascent to the first stage destination. The rustic Zupalseehütte then puts us fully into vacation mode.

Description

You can park your car at the Matreier Goldried Bergbahnen car park or at the Guggenberg car park. The car can also be parked here for a longer period of time free of charge. The trail leads alternately along a steep path and the forest path through a forest, which provides cooling with its damp mossy scent. After 2 - 2.5 hours you reach the Zunigalm. A stop is always worthwhile, as the hut scores points all along the line, both in terms of cuisine and hospitality. TIPP: "Traudl's blackberry omelette". 
The rest of the trail leads through several valleys, past the picturesque Lackensee lake, to the stage destination, the Zupalsee Hütte at 2,350m.
The first stage is also the longest and most demanding of the stages and can alternatively be shortened by taking the hut taxi up to the Wetterkreuz Hütte.
