Landeck - Ischgl (BTT 66)

Description

This demanding stage takes you from the historic Alpine town of Landeck through the Paznaun Valley to the action-packed town of Ischgl. 33 kilometers and 1,250 meters in altitude require skills and fitness. But expect interesting and varied trails on this route.
From Landeck into the Paznauntal and to Ischgl leads for bikers apart from the busy Silvretta main road only this one route - over the small town Tobadill to the unfortunately no longer cultivated Almstüberl. Here begins an approximately 500 meters long sliding passage, which crosses a stream and then leads along a steep slope in the forest. Then it goes down to the lake, where you reach the Paznauner Talweg, a nearly 20-kilometer-long, cropped and very beautiful trail, gravel and narrow asphalt roads. These last 600 meters to Ischgl do not look heavy, but they cost a lot of grains. (Author: Uli Stanciu)
