Description

The enduring hiker climbs the beautiful Lamsenjoch from the Inn Valley. From the Stans swimming pool follow the signs to St.Georgenberg/Stallenalm. Walk past the Weng car park and then turn left. Follow this asphalt road until you come to a single farm (building yard). From here follow the forest road to Bärenrast. Continue along the wild and romantic forest path to the Stallenalm. Soon you will be surrounded by the impressive and huge gravel rocks of the Karwendel Mountains. You can often see chamois here.

From the Stallenalm you follow either a hiking trail or a coarse-grained mountain road to the Lamsenjochhütte (beds, storage, refreshment facilities). For this ascent you still need approx. 2 hours. Due to its length, this hike is unsuitable for families.

This hike can also be taken as a two-day tour, making it more relaxed and comfortable. Overnight stay at the Lamsenjochhütte possible.
