Fischlehrpfad Gerlos

1-hour hike along the Gerlosbach stream.

Description

From Gerlos-Oberwirt, you go left of the main road past the Isskogel parking lot until you reach the last houses in the Innertal, continuing to the Krummbach bridge. After crossing it, you follow the path that immediately turns right into the Funsingau valley after a left curve. About 20 minutes later, the path becomes narrower and winds charmingly along the left bank of the Gerlosbach, until just before the dam. Continuing along a stretch of the federal road, you reach the dam crest of the Durlassboden reservoir. There, the Seestüberl at the dam crest offers a cozy place to stop for a break.
