Enduro Tour 2 - "Water Trophy"

Our “Water Trophy” is a long enduro tour along the lakes, Blindsee and Mittersee.

Description

You start in Lermoos towards the town center parking lot and from there follow MTB Route 868 to the Widum. After about 100m of elevation gain, you reach the Tieftaleck. The bench at the entrance to the Family Trail(868/855) invites you to take a short break with a beautiful view over Lermoos and the Zugspitze. For earlyrisers, it’s the perfect spot for breakfast! Next, you’ll enjoy the easy Family Trail with plenty of flow, which serves as the perfect warm-up lap and leads you along the Grubigsteinbahn back to Lermoos. You then cross Lermoos and follow the Bachtlweg (MTB Route 804) for about 300m of elevation gain to the middle station. At the middle station, you’ll find the Brettlalm, offering the first chance for a break.

Directly after, at the same spot (behind the playground), the Bachtl Trail (8031) begins. The flow trail is full ofrollers, jumps, and berms, exciting both beginner and advanced riders. After almost 3km of fun riding, you’ll reach the Wachtersteig (MTB Route 867). Attention hikers! Please ride slowly! Follow theWachtersteig to the right, towards Biberwier.

In Biberwier, continue along the main road. Shortly after it begins to incline slightly, turn right into “Im Tal” (MTBRoute 838) and follow this road through some climbs, always straight ahead, until you reach the intersection with the Blindsee Trail 866. Follow this trail to the push section. The push section is a technical climb and descent to Blindsee. You can also leave your bikes locked here, as you will return through this push section. Blindsee, with its stunning scenery and turquoise water, is perfect for a long lunch break.

Return via the push section to the intersection 838/866 where you came from, then follow MTB Route 838towards Mittersee. After a few minutes of riding, you’ll reach the next beautiful swimming lake. Continue following MTB Route 838 to the main road to Biberwier, follow this one a few meters, then take a sharp right towards MTB Route 835 and Marienberg.

Now, you’ll face a climb of about 500m of elevation on a forest road until you reach the Sunnalm. Once there, you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful view of the Marienberg, the Wannig, and over the Ehrwalder Talkessel. After a well-deserved break at the Sunnalm, you can look forward to a 4 km trail descent. The MarienbergTrail and Rauhe Gasse will take you through the forest with plenty of riding fun back to Biberwier. Between the Marienberg Trail and Rauhe Gasse, you’ll also find places to stop for refreshments at Waldhaus Talblick and, just below the Rauhe Gasse exit, Otto’s Pistentreff.
