Familiengasthof Schlickeralm

Our Alpine guesthouse lies at the foot of the imposing Kalkoegel mountains at an elevation of 1640 m. We have 17 rooms available, most of them include a bathroom with shower. Our facility includes wireless Internet, a large indoor children's playroom, patio, yard, playground and Kneipp facility. A 700 m long adventure trail with many play areas and a barefoot hiking trail leads to the beautiful Panoramasee.   The nature education trail, which goes from the Kreuzjoch to the Schlickeralm, includes information stations that teach about fauna and flora. Take a break on a bench in one of the rest areas and gaze at the mountains surrounding you. This trail is also accessible with a stroller.   The Scheibenweg is a new trail which leads from the Panoramasee to the mid-station Froneben. This shady trail is also accessible with a stroller.

In the summer you will have a choice between an overnight stay with "Halbpension" (breakfast and dinner) or breakfast only. In the winter the only choice available is Halbpension! We are a working farm, and in the summer breakfast includes homemade butter, yogurt, spreads, milk and buttermilk. Hearty Tyrolean dishes, along with traditional regional cooking using local ingredients, are also served. A weekly sunrise tour ends with a mountain breakfast at the Sennjoch, and our guests enjoy the weekly barbecue. The "Grosse Ochsenwand" is just outside the front door for climbing enthusiasts.   Our elevation is perfectly suited for people with allergies!   We are looking forward to welcoming you to our home.
