Far away from the hustle and bustle in the middle of nature, the Waldhaus Neuleutasch is situated somewhat hidden at the edge of the forest, high up with a view of the surrounding mountain world of Seefeld and Leutasch, but also very close to top ski areas, cross-country ski runs, Tyrolean mountain huts and lakes and the beautiful Karwendel region.
In the Waldhaus there are 2 apartments and we live in the house ourselves for a while, but if it is not used by our family, both apartments can be rented by holiday guests. The house has been renovated little by little with care and by our own hands and has retained its original 60's charm. We - the younger generation - have now furnished a simple, somewhat more modern apartment in addition to the rustic and cosy ground floor apartment on the upper floor. In order to be able to really switch off and to create a lot of time for socializing, there is deliberately no internet and no TV in the whole house, but a few games and books and a lot of space to be outside!

To the approx. 7.000 square meters large property belong a large meadow in front of the house and a piece of forest. In summer, the little brook that meanders through the property along the edge of the forest and the sandpit below the house are the children's favourite places, while we grown-ups keep an eye on them from the terrace. The fireplace behind the house is a nice place to enjoy the already cooler summer evenings. The south-facing balcony of the upper floor apartment not only offers the best view of sunrises and sunsets, but also during the day it is a great place to lie on the outdoor bed and relax in the sun.

Location: The forest house is hidden at the edge of the forest, surrounded by a clearing. A small stream separates meadow and forest. Old trees surround the house and make it a place of security. Between the branches you have a view of the fantastic mountain world of the region Seefeld and Leutasch. We are at 1.200 meters above sea level in the small settlement Neuleutasch. To the next cross-country trail it is 350 meters, to the inn Neuleutasch 500 meters. Apart from a few neighbouring houses, there is not much else to see here, except nature.

The next villages Seefeld and Weidach are 4 kilometers (about 10 minutes by car) away. There are shopping facilities around the clock, pharmacies, doctors, a huge range of leisure activities, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, in other words everything your heart desires.

Important information: The last 200 meters to the Waldhaus are steep and in winter conditions the access road is only passable with snow chains or four edge drive on the last 200 meters.
