Haus Driendl
Dorfstraße 34, 6142 Mieders, Österreich
Our Driendl guesthouse, a historic Tyrolean house with 4 apartments for 1-6 people, is located in the centre of Mieders in the beautiful Stubaital. Mieders is located at the foot of the Serles Mountain, right at the Hochserles cable car station.
The next skiing slopes are on offer in the Hochserles family skiing resort. The stop of the free ski bus that takes to the Schlick 2000 skiing area and Stubai Glacier can be reached in less than a minute. Restaurants and the supermarket are also located in immediate vicinity of your apartment. Within a few minutes only you also reach the small, nostalgic outdoor pool on the outskirts of Mieders.
Every apartment is furnished in alpine style and offers you sufficient space to feel comfortable, whether you come as a couple, family or small group. In the Driendl guesthouse every apartment is equipped with a kitchen or kitchenette, most of which feature a balcony with views of the magnificent Stubai Mountains. The larger apartments have a separate shower and toilet. The heated ski room is ideal for storing your skiing equipment. Parking is available in the court behind the house.
The four skiing areas in the Stubaital offer something for every guest’s taste. The Hochserleslifte in Mieders and the Schlick 2000 in Fulpmes are popular family skiing resorts and comfort is the top priority here. Even non-skiers will feel comfortable on the natural sledding runs, when snowshoeing or on one of the resort’s lovely sun terraces. The Elferlifte resort is suited for more athletic skiers. Of course, sledding fans should not miss out on the illuminated runs there. At Stubai Glacier, the end of the Stubaital, you can also climb the ice tower at Gamsgarten in addition to enjoying the skiing and snowboarding action.
The family-friendly Hochserles hiking area is surrounded by forests and meadows. Via the green moorland trail you reach the Gleinserhöfen located above Mieders. Alternatively you can discover numerous mountain huts or the monastery Maria Waldrast along wide paths. After a thrilling ride on the summer toboggan run, a fun activity for guests of all ages, you return to the Stubaital. Sportive mountain bikers can also enjoy the many mountain pleasures on offer here. Laid-back cyclists climb the Gleinserberg with the electric bike and can recharge their own and their bike’s batteries with great views over the Stubaital in the Alpengasthof Gleinserhof.
Be our guest and enjoy the diversity offered in the Stubaital.
We look forward to your visit!
