Our Gruppotel “Alte Post” specialises in holidays for groups and school ski trips for children and teenagers. Set in the fascinating nature paradise of Kaunergrat Nature Park, it is only 10km to the ski resorts of Rifflsee and Pitztal Glacier, which offer guaranteed snow. Whether you would like to spend a day on the piste, use the 20km long cross-country ski run or the cleared winter walking trail passing nearby – we are an ideal starting point for all those activities and offer the following inclusive services in-house: ice-skating on our own ice rink (skates are provided in-house); tobogganing on the natural toboggan run on a hill just opposite the hotel; guided night walk with torches, punch and bonfire; avalanche presentation by a certified ski coach; free DVD rental for a cosy night in. The ski bus stops on our doorstep and it is only a 10 minute drive to two great ski resorts – Rifflsee and Pitztal Glacier, both of which you can use by buying one combined lift pass. PLEASE NOTE: During the summer season our house is open to self-catering guests. There is a large garden (1.300m²) and terrace for BBQs, beach volleyball court and table tennis available. Our fully-equipped catering kitchen is looking forward to your cookery. The hiking bus will make access to many fascinating walks easy and you can expect a diverse holiday! Please note that visitor's tax (Kurtaxe) is not included in the price.
