Guesthouse Elfriede The Guesthouse Elfriede is a family-friendly B&B pension in a sunny location at 1,200 m altitude and 150 meters above the road in the village of Gerlos Gmünd. Around the house you find pure nature. From our guesthouse you have a fantastic view of the 2637m Wechselspitze mountain in the Zillertal Alps. Our house is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing holiday in the Zillertal Valley. The center of the popular mountain village and the gondola Isskogel Gerlos in the Zillertal Arena is 3 km away. The free ski and hiking bus stops 150 meters from the house and brings you to Gerlos or down to Zell in the valley to Zell. In our B&B pension we rent lovingly decorated rooms and a holiday apartment. For families with small children we offer a layette. The double rooms are equipped with shower / WC, balcony and satellite TV. Our apartment with two separate bedrooms can accommodate 3-4 people. It is also equipped with a shower and toilet, a balcony and satellite TV (in both bedrooms). In addition, it also has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. We offer guests in the rooms a rich breakfast buffet with regional products from Tyrol. You can spend the day in our cozy lounge and breakfast room or on our sun terrace. There is a small playground behind the house with toys and a table tennis table provided for the children of our guests. A small ski lift for children with nursery slopes and a ski school is located 100 meters from the guesthouse. Guests are welcome to bring their dog to Gästehaus Elfriede on request for a fee. In winter, the ski bus takes you up to the Zillertal Arena ski area which has 139 kilometers of slopes for skiers and snowboarders. Winter hikers and cross-country skiers can enjoy lovely walks and trails in the Zillertal Arena in Gerlos. In summer, Gerlos offers sporting activities for everyone, and you can start directly in front of our house. In the Zillertal Alps you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, climbing and rafting. Children can play safely in the great outdoors to their hearts content. Additionally, in summer Gerlos offers the free children and youth program "Family Nest" for children from 5 years of age.
