Welcome to Drittlhof!
Holidays at an organic mountain farm – relaxation, nature experience and familiar hospitality

Our mountain farm lies on the sunny side nestled in the Kitzbühel Alps. Surrounded by lush meadows and woods there is our almost 300-year-old wooden farmhouse, built in classic Tyrolean style. The farm has been in our family for five generations and is now run jointly by Gertraud and Michael. On our farm we keep approx. 20 dairy cows, 20 young cows, 10 chickens, rabbits, quails and, in summer, goats as well as sheep.
From September to May you can get fresh organic hay milk from us every day. In the summer months our cows enjoy their summer holidays at the Niederkaseralm alpine pasture. By the way – the Niederkaseralm is a lovely destination for an excursion! You are welcome to visit our cows there and taste the delicious mountain cheese made from the milk of our cows. Our beautiful orchard in front of the house is really a rarity. More than 30 young and old fruit trees such as apple trees or plum trees stand in our orchard meadow and provide wonderful fruit which we process to juice and schnapps.
We enjoy being hosts and look forward to many lovely encounters that make life worth living. Breathe in real country air and experience genuine holidays and farm life with us at Drittlhof.

Accommodation to enjoy
Our guests stay in two, new high-quality holiday flats on the first floor of our farmhouse. With much love for details, tradition has been combined with modern comfort. We have paid attention to preserve the old and combine it optimally with the new. The individually designed flats promise farm holidays in a feel-good ambience. A unique place for a wonderful time with the family or friends to recharge your batteries for everyday life.

Experience the real mountain winter
Recreation and relaxation with your family and friends is offerd by the surrounding nature and the fantastic view of the mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps. The numerous sporting possibilities such as skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing in winter as well as hiking, cycling, exploring the mountain or swimming in summer offer a wonderful diversity. In winter we have our own toboggan run directly in front of the door (good snow conditions). With various sliding options the kids can glide down the slope, build a snowman or simply make a walk in the winter landscape.
In Hopfgarten you have direct access to the ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixenta, one of the largest ski areas in Austria. With more than 284km of ski runs and 90 modern lifts this ski area offers all a skier’s heart desires. 77 rustic and family-run mountain huts with lovely sun terraces invite you to rest and enjoy. Adventure pistes, fun parks, illuminated toboggan runs and Austria’s largest night ski area await you. The many different cross-country ski trails in the surrounding area allow you to explore and enjoy the valley.
