The Country House Dengg

A holiday destination at the peak of warmth and hospitality. The country house Dengg is situated on a quiet hillside in the beautiful location of Gerlos in the Zillertal valley – at an altitude of 1.250 m near the Gmündersee lake. Every room offers a fantastic view of the Zillertal Alps.

Our comfortable apartment house is the perfect place for your family holiday in Tyrol. Our house is far away from the noise and traffic, yet still only a few minutes away from the center of Gerlos village. Single travelers, couples and families are all welcome.

Our comfortable apartments cater for 2 - 7 people and have 1 - 3 bedrooms as well as a separate living room, and each offer every comfort including dishwasher, cable TV and wireless internet. Both apartments have their own entrance. For families with small children we offer a layette.
All guests have access to a great spa area with sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, and rainfall showerheads. Relax in the conservatory or on the large sun terrace with views of the Zillertal Alps.

In winter, the Zillertal Arena offers 143 km of ski slopes with countless mountain huts for skiers and snowboarders. Away from the slopes there are innumerable trails for a variety of activities such as hiking, cross-country skiing or tobogganing. A free ski bus is available at 15 minute intervals to take you directly to the slopes. The first stop of the bus route is located just 70m from our house, so free seats are guaranteed. In the evening, the bus will bring you safely and comfortably to the center of Gerlos an dback to our pension until 2 a.m.

In summer, Gerlos offers sporting activities for everyone. You can try hiking, biking, climbing, rafting, tennis, swimming, Nordic walking, pedal boating, rowing, sailing, surfing, horseback riding, fishing and more. Our children's playground with its swings, roundabout, table tennis, sandpit, paddling pool and Klettermax offers fun and entertainment. Here your children can play and frolic to their hearts content. The children and youth program "Family Nest" is offered directly in Gerlos free of charge.
We are a member of the "Family Nest" program, as well as "Alpine Hosts" and the Association of Private Renters in Tyrol, and thanks to our flair and personal touch we have been rated as "excellent hosts" by the province of Tyrol.
