Welcome to Stumm near Kaltenbach in the beautiful Zillertal! Enjoy your holidays at our family-run Hofer guesthouse in our comfortable and apartments for 2-3 or 6-8 people that we designed with great attention to detail.

The free ski bus stops 30 metres from our Hofer guesthouse. When snow conditions are good the wonderfully groomed cross-country skiing trail leads right past our house. The centre of Stumm with its numerous restaurants, shops and the supermarket can be comfortably reached on foot within 10 minutes only.

We are happy to accompany our guests when hiking through the beautiful mountains and provide tips on the best hiking experience in the Zillertal.

In our 2 cosy, bright and wood-furnished apartments of the Hofer guesthouse, filled with your hosts own paintings, you and your family can enjoy pure holiday feeling! Every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a welcoming bedroom with cosy beds and, of course, free Wi-Fi.

In the apartment for 2-3 people on the ground floor you can even enjoy especially homely evenings at the crackling fireplace with a glass of wine. On the balcony or on occasion of a barbecue you can perfectly end sunny and active holidays together with family or friends. Our guests the particularly enjoy holiday grilling with our modern gas grill.

On our generous plot in Stumm near Kaltenbach you will find everything that makes children's hearts beat faster: table tennis, an on-site mini golf course, our sunbathing lawn- there is also  a hammock, swing and slide available – ideal conditions for a relaxing holiday with the whole family.

The ski room with boot dryer is available for your hiking gear in summer as well.

The Zillertal with the famous Hochzillertal skiing paradise in Kaltenbach is considered a skiing and snowboarding paradise for the whole family. The Zillertal Arena with its many kilometres of slopes and heated chair lifts will let every skier’s and winter sports fan’s heart beat faster.

Summer in the Zillertal has something on offer for everyone: from the ride with the nostalgic steam locomotive of the Zillertal railway, a visit of the Zillertal Dairy, all the way to cosy hiking and active mountain biking day-trips.
