We have put together a list of our favourite hotels in Tirol with heated outdoor pools - from those seeminly endless infinity pools stretching all the way the the horizon to the region's only thermal baths with futuristic "bowls" which appear to float in mid-air.
Kühtai Hotel Mooshaus
The Hotel Mooshaus in Kühtai has an incredible five swimming pools, including an eye-catching infinity pool on the roof of the hotel. Opened in December 2017, it is almost 100 metres in length and lies at 2,050 metres above sea level. That makes it the highest endless sky pool anywhere in the Alps.
Sölden Hotel "die berge"
The rooftop swimming pool at the hotel "die berge" in the Ötztal Valley is the ideal place to relax and unwind on holiday. The infinity pool design means that the edge of the water blends in with the mountains on the horizon, with the water kept at a constantly warm temperature throughout the year.
Mösern Nidim Casual Luxury Hotel
Perched high above the Inn Valley, the Hotel Nidum in Mösern is home to an open-air pool open all year with a constant water temperature of 30°C. This infinity pool is the ideal place to admire the snow-covered mountains and swim a few lengths before withdrawing to the sizzling sauna, which can be reached via a rope bridge.

Längenfeld Aqua Dome Therme & Hotel
Tirol's only thermal baths, the Aqua Dome in Längenfeld, are also home to a luxury hotel. After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, guests can choose from 12 different pools with water temperatures of between 34°C and 36°C. Among the most eye-catching highlights are the three outdoor "bowls", which appear to be floating in mid-air. They are among the most futuristic pools in the Alps and remain open throughout the winter.

Stans Hotel Schwarzbrunn
Fine views of the Karwendel Mountains and the Tux Alps combined with a small ski piste right outside the front door makes the Hotel Schwarzbrunn in Stans a sea of calm. The hotel's rooftop pool has the name "Bergsee", meaning "mountain lake", and is open throughout the year. The 80m² pool is available for private hire in the evenings.
Söll Hotel Beim Hochfilzer
The Hotel Beim Hochfilzer has expanded its already luxurious spa to include a heated outdoor pool kept at a pleasant 32°C all year round. Measuring 15 x 6 metres, it is long enough for a few decent lengths and has underwater lights as well as fabulous views of the Hohe Salve mountain.
Pertisau am Achensee Hotel Wagnerhof
The Hotel Wagnerhof in Pertisau offers guests the opportunity to relax and unwind in stunning natural surroundings.
