Via the Alpine trail, past the Alfenalm and at the fork in the road which heads to the valley (after the bridge) proceed right along the Alfenbach to a barrier. Just after this point leave the valley trail on the right and proceed in lots of switchback turns to the woodland boundary area. After the last of the barns, cross steeper terrain and via a trough to an old Zollhütte (not open).
