Description

From the village centre of Hochfilzen, walk along the pavement (main road) in the direction of Feistenau. Here you branch off in the direction of Eiserne Hand / Berglehen. Follow the road up a slight incline. At the next fork in the road you have two different tour options:
left in the direction of Berglehen (total outward and return 7 km, 190 m, 2:15 h walking time)
right in the direction of Gasthof Eiserne Hand (total round trip 6.4 km, 108 hm, 1:50 h walking time).
No matter which tour you choose, the way back is always the same as the way there.

Tip: Take the public bus to the Feistenau bus stop! This saves you the stretch along the main road. Bus free of charge with guest card.
