Winter hike Winter walk along the Waldweg Hög

Serfaus /
Difficulty ratings: easy
Route length: 5.0 km
Duration: 1:45 h

"I don't want to hike, it's so cold outside!" Do you know this one? We do too - but we recommend a certain "Nix da" and this family tour. A ride on the gondola lift, a good lunch with a view of Lake Högsee and a lovely hike from the mountain to the valley, where no child will complain.

Tour character

The Alpkopfbahn cable car takes you up to the middle station with great views. The small Högsee lake can also be easily circumnavigated with small children. The Högalm or the Seealm Hög invite you to enjoy a refreshing lunch. The actual hike begins at "Loipenstart Hög" and leads through the Bödenwald forest to the sound shower (Six Senses trail station) - a highlight for children. Continue to the toboggan run - ATTENTION tobogganists - and finally via hiking trail no. 11 directly back to Serfaus. As the path also has steeper sections, shoes with spikes are recommended in winter.
