Description

The romantic winter trail at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range takes you to the unrivalled viewing point at the Wochenbrunner Alm mountain hut. Take the footbridge at the golf course. The Wochenbrunnweg now runs across the golf course beside the Hausbach stream. It passes farmhouses and the snow-covered winter forest, climbing towards the mountain hut. After a gentle walk of around 90 minutes, you will reach your destination. Situated at 1,085 metres, the rustic Wochenbrunner Alm not only offers a spectacular panoramic view from the sun terrace, but the pasture surrounding it includes a small wildlife park with roe deer, stags and mountain goats. Treat yourself to a hearty regional platter of Tirolean cold cuts and bread or a gourmet meal to refresh yourself before heading back down into the valley.
