Description

This winter hike starts at the Scheffau tourist information office. Follow the road in the direction of Hintersteiner See and Rehbachklamm gorge. Please note that the gorge is closed in winter. Therefore, follow the road towards Hintersteiner See and after about 500 meters turn right in the 90° left-hand bend, where you walk parallel to the Rehbachklamm gorge to the Gaisberg parking lot and the Schießling-Leiten junction. Here you continue in the direction of Leiten and can now enjoy the absolute tranquillity of the forest and the wonderful winter air. Enjoy the untracked forest paths. You return to the village of Scheffau through the district of Leiten.
