Snowshoe hiking week on Tuesday Up with the snowshoes, down with the toboggan - it's going to be fun
Time: 10:00 to 15:00
Meeting point: Kellerjochbahn, entrance to Café Rodel Toni, Pillberg
Length: 2.5 km
Elevation gain: 515 m.
The starting point for this short but intensive snowshoe hike is the valley station of the Kellerjoch lift. The first section of this route runs along the toboggan run, but you soon turn off into the forest and make your own tracks in more challenging terrain. The last ascent is completed at the edge of the piste, where you work up a good sweat and have earned a refreshment stop at the Hecherhaus.
After a cosy lunch break with a delicious meal, the toboggans are ready and waiting. After a briefing on the correct tobogganing technique, you toboggan back to the starting point of the hike at a rapid pace on the perfectly prepared toboggan run. Meanwhile, the snowshoes and poles are transported down to the valley by lift.
