Snowshoe hike to the Simmeringalm
The hike begins at the Grünberg parking lot in Obsteig. Pass a wooden barn and follow the trail (wide forest path) along a section of the former ski slope. Hikers reach Zwischensimmering after around an hour's walk. Here, follow the signs to "Simmeringalm" on the right and follow the forest path. From here it is another one to one and a half hours to your destination. The way back is along the same route as the outward journey, resulting in a total distance of around 11 kilometers.
