ZIRBENWALD -> SCHÖNWIESHÜTTE
The start of this beautiful tour is at the end of the Zirbenwald. The winter hiking trail leads with a moderate ascent to the Schönwieshütte past the Rotmoss-Waterfall.
Attention. The winter hiking trail is not groomed. We recommend this tour only with poles and spikes/rugs or with snowshoes.
Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local taxi companies through the valley to your desired destination. Public parking VentParking is available at the entrance of the village and at the base station of the Wildspitze double chairlift.
