Description

The starting point of this idyllic winter hike is the Reitherkogelbahn mountain station, which is reached after a leisurely ascent. As soon as you get off, a magical snowy landscape opens up, inviting you to explore. The trail first leads left past the Nisslhof farm (R11).

After a short walk through the peaceful countryside, turn right at the fork in the path - towards Hinterkoglhof. This is where the panoramic trail (R29) begins, which lives up to its name. With every step, new, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, the snow-covered forests and the sparkling valley open up.

The descent into the valley leads to the romantic Hubkapelle chapel, which stands like a silent sentinel in the middle of the winter landscape. An ideal place to pause for a moment and take in the peaceful atmosphere. From here, it is only a few minutes back to the charming village center of Reith im Alpbachtal.

This hike combines breathtaking views, gentle exercise and the magical tranquillity of winter to create an unforgettable experience. A perfect excursion for anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the cold season to the full.
