Description

Leave the Lehnbach car park through the gate, head straight on to the first fork and follow the signs towards Wildermieming. At the golf course, the route rejoins the little-used road. Hikers go through Brentesiedlung and reach Wildermieming after the Pestkapelle (Chapel of the Black Death). After the Rochuskapelle, the route loops upwards towards the car park (many hiking routes begin here) and back down towards Wildermieming after passing one of Austrian TV's most famous houses, the Bergdoktorhaus.
The route continues through Wildermieming and via the Einsiedlerhöfe back towards Affenhausen. After crossing the road and passing the Afrakapelle, the south side of the road takes you through the forest and past the Nothelferkapelle and Kirche St. Georg. The final stretch takes you through Obermieming and back to the starting point.
