Description

On the Alpine trail to the Alfenalm to the signposts for Roßtal, then bear right on the path through Roßtal via Lipperalm to the head of the valley at around 2050 m. For snow-shoe hikers who are fit the ascent proceeds left, via somewhat steeper terrain, then via a flatter section through troughs and hummocks to the Kalksteiner Jöchl. This snow-shoe hike is recommended for beginners, up to the end of the valley.
