Description

The Kaiserwinklrunde is of the length, athletic attractiveness and scenic beauty probably the most charming and interesting hiking trail in the Kaiserwinkl region. It connects the four Kaisewinkl villages. From the tourist information in Kössen on the path along the Ache to Hüttwirt. From there take way no. 65/66 to Bichlach. Pass by the Hotel Riedlwirt and follow path no. 11 to Camping Seemühle. Keep left, turn right at the first side street and then walk along the lake to the Schusterbauer. There, a side road leads to Durchholzen on the left. Pass the lift on the right and then walk through Rettenschöss next to the Miesberg to the moor area of  the "Schwemm". You pass the golf course Moarhof and the lookout tower until you reach the center of Walchsee. Now it's time to turn back to Kössen. After the Hotel Seehof, turn left at the Trachtenstube Achhorner and continue via Gundharting to Kössen. Through Mooslenz and the recreation center pass by the Brennerwirt and walk to Waidachhof. Behind it, you reach the shore path on the Ache and return via the Staffenbrücke back to the center of Kössen.
