Description

The starting point is at the Umhausen information desk. From there you hike up through the village and continue in the direction of Niederthai. At Bischoffsplatz, follow the signposted winter hiking trail in the direction of the Stuibenfall, past the Ötzi Village and the Birds of Prey Park (only open in summer) until you reach a bridge. Cross this and you can already see the forest cafe Stuböbele. Sporty types can turn right and get to the foot of the Stuibenfall - Tyrol's largest waterfall. The hike leads past the Stuböbele forest cafe to the Steppsteig junction. Follow the winter hiking trail through the snow-covered forest and enjoy the panorama of Umhausen. At the end of the path, follow the signs to Umhausen and get back to the starting point.
