Description

The hike starts at the Hahnenkammhalle in Höfen. First, the path leads over a tiny bridge to the south bank of the Lech, on which the hike then goes for a good three kilometers along the "last wild one" through the Lechauen.

After crossing under the country road, the path leads past the climbing garden through the forest. The Chapel St. Georg and the Gasthof Kreuz await visitors in the picturesque village of Rieden.

The tour continues in a westerly direction, where the path leads through the lovely area of Weißenbach after crossing the Lech Bridge. On the eastern edge of the village, the listed Lourdes Chapel, built in 1885, invites you with its beautiful exposed brickwork to take a last break before you head back along the Lech to the starting point in the center of Höfen.
