Description

This circular walk starts at the top station of the Karwendel cable car and initially passes by the Alpengasthaus Karwendel. The wide, well-groomed winter hiking trail winds through the snow-covered mountain landscape, passing beneath the cable car that soars high above. Along the way, life-size replicas of alpine animals and interpretive panels provide a fascinating insight into the wildlife of the Alps. The final section of the trail follows the edge of the ski slope back to the top station.

Notice: Walking time on this easy to moderate trail varies depending on snow conditions.
