Wonderful forest trails, some of which are quite challenging over roots and stones, and mountain paths with great views lead to four mountain pastures: to the Milderaunalm with the Hühnerspiel natural spectacle, to the rustic Brandstattalm, to the Auffangalm and, after a short second ascent, to the Kartnallalm, where the Kartnall natural spectacle once again offers a great panorama of the glaciers of the Stubai Valley.

Great trail run over 4 alpine pastures with natural spectacles Hühnerspiel and Kartnall - 1st section of the 2023 Innsbruck-Stubai Mountain Running and Trail Run World Championships
From Neustift (leisure center parking lot) initially into the valley on the riverside path to Milders, Oberbergtal. Soon after the turn-off towards Bichlhof, wonderful trails await you up to the Milderaunalm and on to the Hühnerspiel natural spectacle. The route is just as scenic over to the Brandstattalm, then down to the Auffangalm and back to the Bichlhof. The second ascent leads up to the Forchach mountain farm, continuing briefly on asphalt to the Kartnallalm, from there with the destination in sight via the Kartnall nature reserve to the starting point.
