Horn Summit High Pathway

Description

Take advantage of the perfect KitzSki infrastructure by riding Horn Gondola I and the Horn Summit Gondola to the peak. From there, a short trail leads down to an asphalt road, reaching a junction towards Harschbichl after a few meters. The well-marked Gipfel Höhenweg begins here.

This trail requires sure-footedness, but the challenging sections are equipped with safety ropes, making them easy to navigate. Follow the path to the Bergrestaurant Harschbichl, where you can stop for refreshments or continue on the Höhenweg. Retrace your steps briefly before turning left onto the Höhenweg.

The trail ascends gently and is runnable, leading to a viewpoint with a tree serving as a natural telescope—a must-see. The path continues steadily uphill back to the summit of Kitzbüheler Horn, from where you can take the gondola back down.

Aside from the need for sure-footedness, the trail is easy to master and offers spectacular views right at the summit.
