Nomen est omen! At the right time of year, you are not only rewarded with a great run, but you also see countless edelweiss.
From Nauders you walk through the sparse mountain forest and Mähder via Parditsch to the Bazahlerkopf. Now the trail goes steeply uphill and you should take your time, especially in July, to enjoy the flower-filled mountain meadows. Particularly striking here, especially in the steeper terrain, are the many edelweiss (Attention: Do not
do not pick them, the edelweiss is a protected species)! After this steep section, the large summit cross of the Fluchtwand is soon reached. The trail now continues flat and finally briefly uphill to the Saderer Joch. From here the trail goes downhill past the Labaunalm and Parditsch back to Nauders.
