Description

The Wagstätt Gondola Loop starts opposite the Wagstätt Gondola in Jochberg, where parking is available. From the start, run briefly along the main road towards Kitzbühel. After passing a small park, turn left into Martengasse and follow it uphill for about 200 meters. At the end of the lane, continue on a beautiful trail following the signs. This path leads through forests and alpine meadows, steadily climbing upwards. At Wurz-Niederalm, join a forest road and continue uphill until reaching the Jagawurz-Hut. Here, you’ll be rewarded with a magnificent view of the southern mountains, including Geisstein, the highest grassy mountain in the Kitzbühel Alps. The route then descends, first briefly on a forest road, then turning right onto a trail towards Bruggeralm Hut. After the Hut, stay on the forest road and turn left. Follow the road, which transitions from gravel to asphalt, leading directly back to the starting point opposite the Wagstätt Gondola.
