No matter how you get to the Grubigstein in the Tiroler Zugspitzarena - by cable car or on foot - the view of the Zugspitze will inspire you. And the 2.4-kilometre toboggan run that follows is sure to be fun for the whole family.
Everything is family-friendly on the Grubigstein with its panoramic views and the Brettlalm toboggan run is particularly special. The cable car takes you to the starting point, the Brettlalm invites you to stop for a bite to eat and the 2.4-kilometre-long toboggan run is perfectly groomed.
In Lermoos is the longest natural toboggan run of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. Start is at the Brettlalm at the middle station of the Grubigsteinbahn. From there, the toboggan run leads directly to the valley station of the Hochmoos-Express.
The Hochmoos-Express is also ideal for mountain transport of people and toboggans which are available in sufficient quantities at the valley station of the Hochmoos-Express.
At a length of 2,8 kilometers with interesting and varied course overcomes the toboggan run a height difference of 330 meters. A toboggan ride on the Lermooser natural toboggan run is funny for all which also invites to repetitions. Of course, the valid ski tickets can be used for mountain transport and of course the mountain railways offer their own toboggan fares.
When snow conditions are suitable, evening tobogganing every Wednesday from 18:00 - 21:30 at the Hochmoosexpress.
