WINKLEN / UNTERRIED -> turn off Winkelbergsee -> continue uphill -> Wurzbergalm -> return by sledge -> WINKLEN / UNDERRIED
Start of the tour is at the parking lot between the hamlet Winklen and Unterried. In countless hairpin bends leads the forest path (toboggan run) in the air. At the beginning you still have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Längenfeld. Later, the tour runs through dense coniferous forest. If you're lucky, a squirrel crosses your path. After less than 4 kilometers you reach the Wurzbergalm. There you can fortify yourself in the warm room with delicious homemade specialties. Fast it goes with the sled back into the valley.
Public transportation
Travel comfortably and safely by train. Endstation or exit point is the station ÖTZTAL. Then you drive comfortably and quickly by public transport or the
local taxi company through the entire valley to your desired destination.
