Toboggan run Koglalm Praxmar toboggan run

St. Sigmund im Sellrain
Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 5.0 km
Duration: 1:30 h

Where the valley almost ends and is overlooked by the mighty Lüsener Fernerkogel, lies the idyllic hamlet of Praxmar - the starting point for ski tours, snowshoe hikes and the Kogelhütte toboggan run, which combines all the scenic highlights.

We recommend because

... the toboggan run is in a sunny location and because good food awaits you at the end in the Alpengasthaus Praxmar.

Description

From the car park in Praxmar, walk along the road for about 400 metres towards the entrance of the valley, past the Alpengasthof Praxmar alpine guesthouse, until you come to the bottom of the toboggan run. The well-prepared toboggan run is 4.5 kilometres long and leads up to the Koglalm, which is a mountain hut that is not open to the public. If you want to take a break and replenish your energy levels there, simply take a snack with you. There are tables and benches in front of the hut.
