A fantastic winter hike from St. Sigmund in the Sellraintal valley through the snow-covered Gleirschtal valley, a rustic mountain hut with a tiled stove and Tyrolean home cooking and even a toboggan run in front of the terrace - that's how relaxed a tobogganing excursion looks here in Tyrol.
...the toboggan run offers a short and easy immersion in the high alpine winter landscape.
From the Gleirschalm car park, the first section of the route leads along the toboggan run to the Gleirschbrücke bridge. Directly after the bridge, a footpath branches off to the left through the forest, which rejoins the toboggan run after a short time. From here, continue to the Gleirschalm.
Once at the top, the Gleirschalm invites you to take a cosy break - perfect for a well-earned refreshment after the ascent. Please note the opening times of the Alm!
The toboggan run is floodlit every day in winter, regardless of whether the Alm is open. There is also a toboggan hire service in the village for all those who want to start their tobogganing fun spontaneously.
