Toboggan run Axamer Lizum - Pleisenhütte natural toboggan run

Description

On the north side of the large car park, near the Hoadlbahn valley station, the path first leads level past the Axamer Schiklubhaus to the Schafalm. This is where the ascent to the Pleisenhütte toboggan run begins.  The first, short section first leads somewhat more steeply up to the ski slope and then, on a pleasant incline and two wide loops, through a section of forest to the Pleisenhütte vulgo Bärenhütte. The hut is located directly in the ski area at the valley station of the Pleisen double chairlift and invites skiers and tobogganers to a cosy stop. ATTENTION: The toboggan run can only be reached on foot and NOT with the lifts of the Axamer Lizum Bergbahnen!

In very good winter conditions with the best snow conditions down into the valley, the selective toboggan run through the Axamer Tal can also be prepared and the toboggan run extended via the Schafalm junction to a total of 6 km to the village of Axams, Hoadlstraße bend / Axamer Bach dam. ATTENTION! TOTAL CLOSURE OF THE AXAMER LIZUM- AXAMS TOBOGGAN RUN IN THE 2023-24 WINTER SEASON DUE TO CONSTRUCTION WORK!
