Description

The Heiterwanger See together with the Plansee forms the second largest water area in Tyrol.
The Heiterwanger See is located directly at the gateway to the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena, in the community of the same name, Heiterwang.
The Plansee is connected with the Heiterwanger See by a 300 meter long canal and belongs to the municipality of Reutte. Extremely attractive is the Heiterwanger See, because it is so diverse and many activities can be done around the lake: Swimming, boating, boat rental, fishing, cycling and hiking on the lake, comfotably in a bay to linger, 2 barbecue areas, collecting sponges, grilling and chilling.
