Parking lot at the Rosshütte valley station, Seefeld
The piste ski tour to the Seefelder Joch leads along groomed pistes at 2,064 meters and offers breathtaking views of the Karwendel - ideal for beginners and connoisseurs.
From the valley station, you can cover around 5.8 kilometers to the Seefelder Joch. The first section is not usually along the piste, but via a specially created forest ascent north of the funicular. However, if there is not enough snow, it is possible to ascend via the Brandl piste. There are two refreshment stops along the way: The Hochegg-Alm below the Kaltwassersee reservoir and the Rosshütte at the top station of the funicular at around 1,750 meters. The last steep section via the Joch descent is challenging - but well worth the fantastic panoramic view at 2,060 meters above sea level. Alternatively, you can end the tour at the Rosshütte.
