Description

The small ski area on the Zahmer Kaiser in Walchsee is geared entirely towards families and connoisseurs. There are several lifts, including a 4-seater chairlift, from whose mountain station various blue slopes lead down into the valley. Those with more experience will enjoy the red slopes "Schmiedereralm race course" and "Freeride Blasenalm". There is a ski school, a children's area at the Amberg lift and childcare facilities so that even the youngest children can learn to ski in a fun way. Night skiing is offered up to twice a week and a snowmaking system is used when there is little snow.
