Description

There's nothing that doesn't exist - that could be the motto of SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental. Winter sports enthusiasts can fulfill almost every wish here, no matter what their preferences are, how much experience they have and whether they are on one or two boards. The nine villages of Brixen im Thale, Ellmau, Going, Hopfgarten, Itter, Kelchsau, Scheffau, Söll and Westendorf belong to the ski association. All of them are connected to the piste area by cable cars and valley runs, some of which are many kilometers long.

An abundance of pistes of varying difficulty - many of which are suitable for beginners - many race courses, some with speed measurement, several night ski runs and three fun parks for freestylers mean that there is not even a hint of boredom. The highest points of the ski area are located at an altitude of almost 2,000 meters, where snow is guaranteed. However, as some of the slopes are at a very low altitude, most of them can also be artificially snowed.

Advantage for families: there are several practice areas for children and numerous childcare facilities for the little ones. There are plenty of places to stop for a break, including the enchanting Alpeniglu village with its ice sun lounge at the Hochbrixen mountain station and the Bergkaiser panorama restaurant. Experienced skiers looking for a thrill should take on the black descent from the Choralpe. It has a gradient of no less than 80 percent.
