You don't need much more than two drag lifts to spend a great day's skiing on Lake Thiersee.
A ski resort could hardly be more relaxed: In the small Thiersee-Mitterland ski center to the west of Kufstein, the two pistes are quiet, so that families, beginners and leisure skiers in particular get their money's worth. The Schneeberg lift takes snow sports enthusiasts up 200 meters in altitude. From the top, there is a red valley run with a variant. If you're just starting out, it's best to begin with the Hagerlift and its blue slope or sign up at the local ski school.
