Although the Hahnenkamm in the Außerfern has nothing to do with the Streif downhill run, it is just as worth a visit for skiers.

We recommend because

  • Small, quiet ski area in the Reutte region with slopes for all ability levels
  • Children and beginners ski on their own practice area
  • beautiful view over the Lechtal valley from the restaurant at the mountain station

Description

Around the Höfener Alm below the Hahnenkamm summit in the Reutte vacation region, a wide ski area stretches up to a snow-sure altitude of 1,900 meters. Although the largest ski area in the region is quite manageable, it still offers slopes for all ability levels. In Höfen, where the valley station of the Hahnenkamm cable car is located, there is a practice area for beginners near the Schollenwiesen lift and a magic carpet for children at the mountain station. And for a snack in between, it's worth visiting the panorama restaurant at the mountain station, which offers a magnificent view over the Lech Valley.
