Relaxed family ski day or adrenaline kick on halfpipes - the Christlum ski area can do both.
The Christlum ski area in Achenkirch actually has everything that large winter sports arenas have, only on a smaller and more relaxed scale. It can be reached from Innsbruck in 45 minutes and from Munich in 60 minutes. For snowboarders, there is a fun park with halfpipe, freestyle jumps and boardercross course. Families are drawn to the Kinderland with children's ski school at the mountain station. And the choice of slopes ranges from blue to black, at an altitude of up to 1,800 meters above sea level. If you already have a lot of experience on the slopes, you should try out the particularly winding north run, which leads down to the valley and allows boarders in particular to jump over the freestyle jump. It is one of the two black runs in the ski area. If, on the other hand, you fancy a long descent into the valley, you should combine the red runs 2 and 1, which add up to four kilometers to the valley station.
