Description

Winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy a magnificent mountain panorama in the Bergeralm ski and leisure arena near Steinach am Brenner. It is located in the heart of the Wipptal valley and can be reached quickly from Innsbruck via the highway. At an altitude of between 1,000 and 2,000 meters, snow is guaranteed between the end of November and the beginning of April. The piste network, which has been awarded the Tyrolean Piste Seal of Quality, offers slopes of all levels of difficulty. With a large proportion of red and black pistes, including a mogul slope, it is primarily aimed at experts. The beginner slopes are mainly located in the upper part of the ski area at the Hochsonn lift. The youngest snow sports enthusiasts, on the other hand, are in good hands on the Bergeralm, with its children's ski area, children's fun park and children's ski cross course. At the top of the Nösslachjoch, you can regularly watch freeriders snowkiting.
